Personal Statement
Dr. Broz, a retired pathologist, grew up in western Nebraska and spent
part of his life on a ranch. He graduated from Creighton University School
of Medicine and practiced for 35 years. He served as Director of
Laboratories at the U.S. Air Force Academy Hospital. An ardent trout
fisherman, he sees rangeland as a long abused resource. "Its vital
that it gets more and deserved protection, particularly from
overgrazing."
