Personal Statement
Mr. Atkins was previously a Systems Engineer with a background in the Manned Space Flight Tracking Network and
with the defense department as a member of Bendix Field Engineering and later the Mitre Corp. C3I Division.
After moving west and taking notice of the abuse and destruction of Public
Land, Mr. Atkins founded the Conservancy
of the Phoenix, Inc. as a Pantheist based nature conservancy to work towards
the symbiotic relationship between humankind and all else that exist within the
realm of humankind's influence. Mr. Atkins has a particular interest in creatures of the
feather. Mr. Atkins is a life member of NRA and in the past was a marksman
and coach for junior rifle teams.
